Hello World! more like Hello London!

Welcome and thanks for even coming to the part of the website – it’s not that I don’t think you will want to read it but I bet checking on the Office Fresh Blog is not the first thing that comes to your mind as you turn on your PC! If you do then get in touch and I’ll feature on you on our site as being our biggest fan. Seriously, I will and you can be the envy of all your friends.

New website – Hooray!

It’s funny that we’ve been in London for over 5 years now and been busy cleaning for our clients, day in and day out, and one thing that got left behind was the website. So, now we have it live I thought I’d pat ourselves on our back. But, of course, not for long as if any of you have been involved in your own website will know that as soon as you think you have finished you see lots of things you want to change so I’m not resting on my laurels I’m going to continue to work on it.

What do you think of your office cleaners?

One thing I often wonder is what people think when they see their cleaners come in each evening and wander around amongst those late night workers who are sitting isolated like little islands in a sea of desks – normally surrounded by papers and with fixed concentrated gazes at their computers, trying to get that report out or that last bit of work before their bosses bark at them in the mornings. It’s a time when 2 worlds collide and your cleaner is weaving around the desks cleaning up another days mess and trying to leave the hoovering until the last so as not to disturb you. I hope you appreciate the work that they do and that you reward them with a smile and a hello as the cleaners that come in day in and day out are little heros in their own right. In fact, there should be a national ‘Cleaner Appreciation Day’ – I’ve just checked Google and the closest there is to this is a National Dish Washer Appreciation Day on the 3rd of June. Now that’s really unfair having a day for a machine but not you own Office Cleaner. So, I think we should declare that June 8th is the National Cleaner Appreciation Day!! So there you are, I’m not sure how National Days get decided normally but I think this way is as good as any.

Take care,
Pat
